Windy City Performing Arts sings to inspire change, celebrate diversity, and honor the dignity of the LGBTQ+ community.
About Us
Windy City Performing Arts (WCPA) was incorporated in 1983 as an independent not-for-profit and is home to the Windy City Gay Chorus and the Windy City Treble Quire.
Support
Our choruses create moments that inspire people to change the world. But, as is the case with every not-for-profit (501c3) arts organization, ticket sales, dues, and grants only cover 60% of our operating costs. Our friends help us fill the gap. And your donation is fully tax deductible to the extent allowable by IRS code.
Auditions
We’re thrilled to hear you’re interested in learning more about joining Windy City Gay Chorus (our TTBB chorus) or Windy City Treble Quire (our SSAA chorus). Both choruses are filled with people with a passion for choral music that celebrates diversity, honor creativity, and cultivate pride through musical performance. We welcome anyone who is interested and has a commitment to our mission to audition!

TO OUR COMMUNITY
The members of the Windy City Gay Chorus and Windy City Treble Quire are devastated by the continued attacks on our LGBTQ+ community. We mourn with the LGBTQ+ community at Club Q in Colorado Springs and send strength and love to all who are grieving.
These hateful acts of violence must stop. Let us all use our voices to condemn and stand up against these senseless acts that target our LGBTQ+ friends, family and loved ones.
