“Windy City Gay Chorus and Windy City Treble Quire really is a space that allows you to be yourself. You don’t have to be afraid of who you are there. Because…everyone wants to see who you are!“Deanalis R., WCTQ Member
We’re thrilled that you’re interested in learning more about joining Windy City Gay Chorus (our tenor/bass chorus) or Windy City Treble Quire (our soprano/alto chorus). Both choruses are filled with people with a passion for choral music that inspires change, celebrates diversity, and honors the dignity of the LGBTQ+ community. We welcome anyone who is interested and has a commitment to our mission to audition!
We’re seeking new voices to create harmony with us!

COVID-19 POLICY: At this time, WCPA plans to require singers to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations (this includes boosters, if eligible) and wear masks for indoor events. Singers will need to bring proof of their vaccinations to the first rehearsal. The dress rehearsal and concert MAY be mask optional; that determination will be made closer to the time of the event.
WCTQ (soprano/alto) will meet on Mondays for rehearsal at 7:30 pm. WCGC (tenor/bass) will meet on Wednesdays for rehearsal at 7:30 pm. During these gatherings, we will have rehearsals where the interim conductor will teach the parts, as well as sectional rehearsals in small groups to review the notes. Plus, these meetings aren’t just about music! In addition to singing together, we will enjoy social activities such as game nights, karaoke, craft nights, and other ways to continue engaging together.
WCPA ensembles are following local, state, and national guidance to contain the spread of COVID-19. In addition, at this time, all members of WCTQ and WCGC are REQUIRED to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to participate in any singing or social events with the chorus.
WCPA is a volunteer membership organization and we rely on membership dues to help pay for music, performance space, and all operational expenses. Financial assistance is available for those who need it.
