WCPA is proud to be actively engaged in our community, and we routinely partner with other organizations that we feel deserve the attention and care of our audience and members. This summer, we are excited to be partnering with New Leash on Life (NLOL) Chicago.
NLOL Chicago is an entirely volunteer run, nonprofit organization committed to finding loving homes for shelter dogs who might otherwise be euthanized. Often focusing on the “non-adoptable” dogs at shelters, NLOL Chicago has rescued over 580 dogs, and the majority of these have come from Chicago Animal Care and Control.
You can find information about NLOL Chicago and the dogs they have available by visiting WCPA’s Midsommarfest booth, or NOLA’s booth at other street festivals this summer. You can also visit their Amazon wishlist at www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist?cid=A1AM6MN4UZDVGN to help provide much needed supplies, or their website at www.nlolchicago.org to make a direct monetary donation.
